As the annual college application season begins to roll out, The Dynamics has decided to support underprivileged students with the application process by offering them access to free virtual SAT classes.
In the United States, standardized testing is a major component of college admission decisions. The SAT, one of the two accepted tests (alongside the ACT), is sat by nearly 3,000,000 students every year. With that many applicants competing for acceptances to higher education programs, the importance of acing the exam cannot be undermined. As per data collected by the Office of Institutional Research at several universities, the ever-so-prestigious ‘Ivy League’ schools tend to only consider applicants boasting an SAT score of 1450 or higher, who place in the top 1% of test-takers. Despite most universities going test-optional for the 2021-2022 application season, sending in a solid SAT score greatly improves a college-hopeful’s chances of admission.
We at The Dynamics have partnered with the EXAM.AIUTO to set up free SAT classes for those who cannot afford traditional tutoring. We hope to utilize this partnership not only to give a chance to underprivileged students to pursue their higher education in the USA, but also to bridge the wealth gap that continues to greatly influence admission decisions.
